Glass sprouting jars are a quick and easy way of sprouting seeds, grains, legumes and beans. The oval shape of these glass-sprouting jars allows more light to get to the center of the jars, this means that there will be more chlorophyll present to develop the sprout's leaves. Standard sprouting jars are often not allow as much light into the center of the jar meaning that there are more yellow leaves.

This sprouting jar from Eschenfelder has been designed with a stainless steel mesh top that allows for easy rinsing - rinsing under water helps remove mold spores, growth inhibitors and seed casings.

The jars are suitable for all sizes of seeds for sprouting.

Soak seeds in water overnight in the jars, then simply rinse twice a day under a running tap.

Not suitable for slime-forming seeds such as: watercress, arugula, mustard, Chia and flax seed.

Cleaning:  After the harvest, soak the sieve in water (few minutes), scrape the remains of with a knife, and then rinse.
The sieve is not intended for cleaning in a dishwasher.
